Barcelona through the eyes of Zafón

While walking through history-filled streets, we will see buildings and places that became part of a particularly violent and interesting period of Barcelona's history, later setting of the novel The Shadow of the Wind. Carlos Ruiz Zafón´s story transports us to the first half of the twentieth century, a time of intrigue, passion, revolution and crime. The opulence of the wealthy districts of Barcelona contrasted against the misery of the slums. Zafón´s characters move through these two sides of Barcelona. We will experience the city that always stayed alive live through the night as if we were accompanied by the great families, fortunes, intellectuals and power from Zafon´s work.
